what SUCCESS is NOT

According to Arianna Huffington, Success has been traditionally defined as in different terms, the prevalent of such are money, influence and power. the trending factor of a successful individual is dependent on how financially buoyant, materially sufficient and politically powerful such person is.
Many have argued that success is not complete without these afore listed factors. People of this school of thought might actually be right. Show me a successful individual without money, show me a successful individual without social and political influence, and so many related questions beckons in the plight of explaining who a successful individual is.
Literarily, success means ‘accomplishment of an aim or purpose’. Success is an accomplishment of an aim or a purpose, the aim or purpose must then be defined. However, the aim does not only connote riches, accumulation of wealth, social and influential status. Not every rich man is successful, not every influential individual is successful, not every poor man is successful. Success features on all spheres of life; academic, marital, spiritual, financial, and lots more. Attaining success comes with lots of challenges, (psychological, financial, material, etc).
WHAT SUCCESS IS NOT
According to Geoffrey James, he noted ‘…if you believe success is simply making or having a lot of money, you might be setting yourselves up for failure’. Please note that been wealthy, influential and powerful is not been castigated, as a matter of fact, all these factors aid SUCCESS. But it will be fallacious to say that those who possess any of these factors are successful.
In my words, Success is therefore a thing of the mind based solely on how much you give amidst the little or abundance you have. It is a subject of giving, a subject of impact, a subject of how many lives have been touched (your social and economic status not with standing).
It is important to note that this disturbing fallacious orientation of what success is needs to be addressed, one of such means is via this life-changing seminar tagged; ”REDEFINNING SUCCESS”.
REDEFINNING SUCCESS is a one-day program targeted at re-orientating the mindset of youth, teenagers and secondary school students on what Success is, and what Success is NOT. It delves into the academic and career perspective and attainment of success, talent discovery and development and the influence of peer groups which could make or mar SUCCESS.
Come, but not alone.
